यह वर्ष **1875** था।

 

भारत मौन उथल-पुथल का देश था-उसके लोग दमित थे, फिर भी उसकी आत्मा अखंड थी। औपनिवेशिक शासन के इस माहौल में, **बंकिमचंद्र चटर्जी** नामक एक युवा, दूरदर्शी लेखक ने कुछ ऐसा लिखा जो न केवल कविता थी, न केवल गद्य… बल्कि पद्य में नियति थी। “मातृभूमि क्या है? क्या वह वह नदी नहीं है जो बहती है, वे खेत नहीं हैं जो हमें भोजन देते हैं, वह हवा नहीं है जिसमें हम साँस लेते हैं? वह माँ है… और हम उसे नमन करते हैं।” ये पंक्तियाँ उस दिव्य गान में विकसित हुईं जिसे आज हम *वंदे मातरम* के नाम से जानते हैं। उन्हें क्या पता था-ये शब्द एक दिन पूरे देश में जंगल की आग की तरह फैल जाएँगे।

 

 

Fast-forward to the early 20th century. British rule had tightened its grip. Frustration simmered. Hope flickered. And then… *Vande Mataram* soared into the public consciousness. It was more than a chant-it became a **weapon of unity**. Wherever the struggle for freedom intensified, *Vande Mataram* echoed like thunder rolling across the skies. Students took to the streets. Mothers whispered the words to their children. Revolutionaries wrote it in letters smuggled out of jail cells.

 

 

Many marched into danger with nothing but courage in their hearts and *Vande Mataram* on their lips.

 

आइए एक पल के लिए कल्पना करें- उन स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों की जो इन शब्दों को जीते और साँस लेते थे। “जब वे हमें घसीटकर ले गए, तो हमने वंदे मातरम का नारा लगाया, ताकि पूरे शहर को पता चल जाए कि हम झुकेंगे नहीं।” “उन्होंने हमें जो भी मारा, हमने एक ही पुकार से जवाब दिया- वंदे मातरम!”

 

 

“मेरे भाई की आखिरी याद यह है कि वह मार्च में शामिल होते हुए अलविदा कह रहा था और वंदे मातरम चिल्ला रहा था…” ये कोई काल्पनिक आवाज़ें नहीं थीं। ये वो आवाज़ें थीं जिन्होंने उस भारत का निर्माण किया जिसमें हम आज साँस लेते हैं।

 

 

And today, 150 years after the song was written, the nation has come together to honour it. The **Parliaments are devoting time for a heartfelt national discussion on the legacy of *Vande Mataram*. Leading the remembrance was **Prime Minister Narendra Modi**, who paid a glowing tribute to the song’s timeless power.

 

 

 

“वंदे मातरम के मंत्र ने पूरे देश को शक्ति और प्रेरणा दी। इसने स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन को ऊर्जा प्रदान की। आज इस पवित्र मंत्र का स्मरण करना इस सदन के प्रत्येक सदस्य और प्रत्येक देशवासी के लिए सौभाग्य की बात है।” उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि यह वर्षगांठ एक अवसर है, उस महान अध्याय और उसके गौरव को पुनः स्थापित करने का अवसर। यह गीत न केवल स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के साथ था, बल्कि उसे प्रेरित भी किया। इसने उसे मजबूत किया। इसने, कई मायनों में, हमें 1947 में स्वतंत्रता दिलाई।

“भारत सरकार के मार्गदर्शन में 1 दिसंबर को पौड़ी गढ़वाल के घुड़दौड़ी स्थित गोविंद बल्लभ पंत इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज परिसर में राज्य के पहले जेन-जी डाकघर का शुभारंभ किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्य पोस्टमास्टर जनरल, उत्तराखंड परिमंडल, शशि शालिनी कुजूर ने कहा कि भारतीय डाक सेवा देश की सबसे पुरानी संस्थाओं में से एक होने के साथ ही आज भी जनता के सबसे निकट और विश्वसनीय सेवाओं में शामिल है। उन्होंने बताया कि जेन-जी पोस्ट ऑफिस भविष्य की पीढ़ी के अनुरूप एक अभिनव मॉडल है, जिसमें आधुनिक तकनीक, डिजिटल सेवाओं और पारंपरिक डाक संस्कृति का समन्वय किया गया है। मुख्य पोस्टमास्टर ने कहा कि युवाओं की सोच, कार्यशैली और रचनात्मकता को डाक सेवाओं से जोड़ना समय की आवश्यकता है। यह पोस्ट ऑफिस केवल सेवा केंद्र ही नहीं, बल्कि एक इंटरऐक्टिव प्लेटफ़ॉर्म होगा, जहाँ युवा संचार, वित्तीय समावेशन और डिजिटल नवाचार की वास्तविक दक्षताओं का अनुभव कर सकेंगे। उन्होंने इस डाकघर के डिज़ाइन और सजावट में योगदान देने वाले सभी छात्रों को धन्यवाद देते हुए कहा कि उनका योगदान डाक विभाग और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के बीच सहयोग के नए अवसर खोलेगा।

Gangtok

From D’dun to Sikkim where state is all set to experience a Super Car Rally supported by the Black Cat Division under the aegis of the Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army. Two Coordination meetings have already been conducted in the presence of District Collector Gangtok Tushar G Nikhare, Additional Political Secretary Gangtok Tshering Wangchuk Lepcha, along with senior representatives of the Indian Army.

 

 

“Sikkim is all set to experience a Super Car Rally supported by the Black Cat Division under the aegis of the Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army. Scheduled from 11th to 15th December 2025, the rally will be flagged off from Sukna, West Bengal, and traverse through Siliguri, Gangtok, Cho La, Nathu La, and the Gnathang-Zuluk stretch, offering participants a curated experience of Sikkim’s high-altitude landscapes, border tourism corridors and mountain road infrastructure. The rally will be led by the Mumbai based Super Car Route Group and will feature high performance automobiles including Lamborghinis, Porsches, and other international luxury supercars. A key highlight of the initiative is that it is entirely self-funded, with participating vehicle owners covering all accommodation, travel, fuel, logistics and operational expenses. Support from the Army aligns with the objectives of Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan, a national programme developed by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, aimed at providing citizens access to India’s historic battlefields and military heritage locations. One of the prominent highlights of the rally route will be the transit through Cho La Pass, located at 5,420 meters (17,782 ft.), recognized both for its strategic role during the 1967 Indo-China skirmishes and for its picturesque alpine terrain. Benchmark domestic equity indices, the Sensex and the Nifty, closed on a bearish note today. The indices opened in negative territory and extended their losses throughout the day. However, in the last hour, the indices managed to retain some of their losses. The Sensex plunged 610 points or 0.71 per cent, to close at 85 thousand 103, while the Nifty slipped 226 points or 0.86 per cent, to settle at 25 thousand and 961.

बिपिन रावत (अंग्रेज़ी: Bipin Rawat, जन्म- 16 मार्च, 1958; मृत्यु- 8 दिसम्बर, 2021)

 

 

भारत के प्रथम ‘चीफ़ ऑफ़ डिफ़ेंस स्टाफ़’ बिपिन रावत की आज पुण्‍यतिथि है। उन्होंने यह पद 31 दिसंबर, 2019 को ग्रहण किया था। इससे पहले उन्होंने भारतीय थल सेना के 27वें सेनाध्यक्ष के रूप में भी काम किया। उरी हमले के बाद सीमा पार जाकर सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक पैरा कमांडोज की योजना भी जनरल बिपिन रावत ने दी थी। 1978 में बिपिन रावत को देहरादून स्थित ‘इंडियन मिलिट्री एकेडमी’ से पास आउट होने पर 11वीं गोरखा राइफल्स की 5वीं बटालियन में कमीशन के लिए चयनित किया गया था। वह भारतीय सैन्य एकेडमी के बेस्ट कैडेट थे। उन्हें ‘स्वार्ड ऑफ ऑनर’ भी मिला। अपने पूरे करियर के दौरान उन्हें अति विशिष्ट सेवा पदक, युद्ध सेवा पदक, सेना पदक और विशिष्ट सेवा पदक आदि जैसे सम्मानों के द्वारा अनेकों बार सम्मानित भी किया जा चुका था। 8 दिसंबर, 2021 को तमिलनाडु के कुन्नूर में सीडीएस जनरल बिपिन रावत को लेकर जा रहा सेना का एक हेलिकॉप्टर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया। जिसमें उन्‍होंने अपने प्राण गंवा दिए।

Uday Shankar (born Uday Shankar Chowdhury; 8 December – 26 September)

 

 

was an Indian dancer and choreographer, best known for creating a fusion style of dance, adapting European theatrical techniques to Indian classical dance, imbued with elements of Indian classical, folk, and tribal dance. The person who is honoured to be the “founder of modern dance” in India did not originally have any kind of background in dance. He was originally interested in painting. Actually he first performed as an Indian dancer at one of the charity events organized by his father in London. The most famous Russian ballerina of the time Anna Pavlova was amongst the spectators who having an interest of creating her own choreography chose uday Shankar to be her partner and that is how his journey of becoming a world renowned dancer started.

 

 

उदय शंकर ने ‘भारतीय शास्त्रीय नृत्य’ और यहाँ की संस्कृति को विश्व के हर कोने में पहुँचाने में विशेष योगदान किया। ये उनकी अथक लगन और कार्य के प्रति समर्पण की भावना ही थी कि भारत की संस्कृति से समूचा विश्व परिचित हो सका। उदय शंकर को उनके अतुलनीय योगदान के लिए ‘संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार’ – ‘क्रिएटिव डांस (1960)’संगीत नाटक अकादमी फ़ेलोशिप’ – (1962)’पद्मविभूषण’ – (1971)’देशीकोत्तम सम्मान’ – (1975) जैसे कई पुरस्कारों और सम्मानों से नवाजा गया था
