And now, time for our segment Dateline India, in which we take a look at the developments taking place at the national or global level. Today, we will talk about :- Pariksha Pe Charcha.

Today we bring you a programme filled with motivation, wisdom, and hope-especially for students, parents, and teachers tuning in right now.

Exams often bring pressure, expectations, and anxiety-but what if exams were seen not as fearsome hurdles, but as a celebration of learning? That’s exactly the spirit behind Pariksha Pe Charcha, a unique interactive initiative led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. In the second video episode of the 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, released today, the Prime Minister engaged directly with students and shared valuable insights on exams, life skills, discipline, creativity, technology, leadership, and nation-building. Let’s take a detailed look at the inspiring messages that resonated with millions of young minds across the country.

On the question of balancing studies and passion, Mr Modi made an important observation. He said students should never think that academics and creative pursuits are separate or opposing paths. Both, he said, are equally valuable and can be balanced effectively. He highlighted that art, music, writing, painting, and other creative hobbies help reduce mental fatigue and play a crucial role in maintaining emotional well-being.

Shifting focus to civic responsibility, the Prime Minister urged students to become responsible citizens in their everyday lives. He appealed to them to follow basic rules such as not littering public places, not spitting on roads, obeying traffic signals, and avoiding food wastage. He stressed that nation-building begins with disciplined daily behaviour, and small actions collectively create a big impact.

Responding to a student’s question on artificial intelligence and technology, Mr Modi clarified that technology should not be feared. Instead, students should ensure they use technology wisely, rather than becoming dependent on it. He described technology as a powerful teacher and encouraged students to use it responsibly for learning, innovation, skill development, and career-building. Sharing advice on **travel and exposure, the Prime Minister encouraged students to travel not merely as tourists, but as learners. He said students should explore new places with curiosity-understanding their culture, history, traditions, and way of life. Such experiences, he noted, broaden thinking and deepen understanding.

On environmental responsibility, the Prime Minister said protecting natural resources should become a habit. Change, he explained, happens gradually when more people come together with awareness and commitment. When asked about leadership, Mr Modi said future leaders must be able to communicate their ideas clearly and effectively. He emphasised that learning should involve writing and practice, not just reading. He also cautioned students against being impressed by success alone, urging them to learn from the humble beginnings of great personalities. Acknowledging India’s diversity, the Prime Minister said the country’s progress is enriched by its tribal communities. He encouraged students to keep striving, never settle for less, and always aim higher in life.

Conceptualised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pariksha Pe Charcha aligns with the National Education Policy 2020, promoting confidence, positivity, and holistic well-being. The programme was telecast on the Prime Minister’s YouTube channel, Doordarshan, Akashvani, Ministry of Education’s social media platforms, and on WAVES OTT.

As we conclude today’s broadcast, remember-

Exams are important, but your mindset is more powerful.

Success matters, but character matters more.

And learning never ends-it simply takes new forms.

The Tripura Industrial and Trade Fair is a unique and vibrant annual event that has been instrumental in guiding the State’s industrial sector towards prosperity for over three decades. While this event was once merely a platform for promoting Tripura’s industrial potential, it is now eagerly awaited by industrialists from other States and even abroad, in addition to the State’s own entrepreneurs. And it goes without saying that this year was no exception to that experience, as is evident from the words of Kiran Gitte, Secretary, Department of Commerce and Industries, Tripura.

Thus, over the past three decades, through 35 industrial fairs, many strong examples of ‘Make in Tripura’, much like Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’, are now readily available in the State. And after changing locations several times, this fair, organized by the Department of Commerce and Industry and the Tripura Industrial Development Corporation, in the Hapania International Fair Ground in Agartala, spread across 60,000 square feet, features 580 stalls from Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Tripura – presenting a vibrant picture of a mini-India of industrial entrepreneurship.
