“The Government has extended the India AI Impact Expo by one day till the 21st of this month. Briefing the media in New Delhi, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Secretary S. Mr Modi said, the world is entering an era where humans and intelligent systems co-create, co-work and co-evolve. He said, AI will make the work smarter, more efficient and more impactful. The Prime Minister called for developing a collective resolve of AI for Global Common Good. He said, in AI, India sees opportunity and the blueprint of tomorrow.

High atop a hill in Verem, overlooking the Mandovi River, stands a building that is much more than a landmark with a bright red roof. It is the cradle of India’s future naval leadership. Here’s a report on the Naval War College, where the Goa Maritime Conclave will take place on February 21. We have more from our correspondent;
“If you are sailing past the Goa coast, you will likely spot the vibrant red roof of Chola Bhavan. Formally inaugurated in March 2024, this architectural marvel has shaped naval leaders and remains rooted in nature. It is built around a 240-year-old banyan tree that serves as a living “Gurukul” for India’s future admirals. The college isn’t just a training hub; it is a center of excellence for war gaming and research. And its mission extends beyond India’s borders. Through the Maritime Security Course, the college serves as a pillar of regional diplomacy, training officers from across the Indian Ocean. It is also venue of the fifth Goa Maritime Conclave (GMC-26) that begins February 21 in Goa, uniting naval leaders from 14 Indian Ocean nations. Launched in 2017 and held biennially, this edition focuses on shared maritime security challenges including illegal fishing, narcotics trafficking, and illicit activities threatening regional stability.

हिमाचल प्रदेश में छोटी काशी के नाम से प्रसिद्ध मंडी शहर में इन दिनों अंतरराष्ट्रीय महाशिवरात्रि महोत्सव की धूम है। सात दिवसीय यह महोत्सव 16 से 22 फरवरी तक आयोजित किया जा रहा है, जो अपने 500वें वर्ष के ऐतिहासिक आयोजन का प्रतीक है। मंडी शिवरात्रि महोत्सव की सबसे बड़ी विशेषता यह है कि इसमें शैव, वैष्णव और देव परंपराओं का अदभुत संगम देखने को मिलता है। EK REPORT;
“हिमाचल प्रदेश की सांस्कृतिक धरोहरों में मंडी का अंतरराष्ट्रीय शिवरात्रि महोत्सव केवल एक पर्व नहीं, बल्कि आस्था, परंपरा और आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा का अद्भुत संगम है। छोटी काशी मंडी का ऐतिहासिक अंतरराष्ट्रीय महाशिवरात्रि महोत्सव अपनी 500 वर्षों की स्वर्णिम यात्रा के साथ मनाया जा रहा है। महोत्सव के दौरान सैकड़ों देवी–देवता अपने रथों और पालकियों में मंडी पहुंचते हैं और शहर में तीन प्रमुख जलेब निकाली जाती हैं, जो इस आयोजन की मुख्य आकर्षण होती हैं। सात दिवसीय इस देव महाकुंभ की शुरुआत राज देवता माधो राय की पारंपरिक जलेब से हुई जिसमें स्थानीय लोग और देवलू अपने देवी–देवताओं के रथों के साथ झूमते–नाचते और गाते हुए शामिल हुए। देवी–देवताओं के वाद्य यंत्रों से निकलती पवित्र ध्वनियों से छोटी काशी मंडी का पूरा वातावरण देवमय बना हुआ है। सैकड़ों देवी–देवताओं की पालकियों के साथ बजते नगाड़े, करनाल, रणसिंघे और ढोल की लयबद्ध ध्वनियाँ ऐसा आभास कराती हैं मानो देव लोक धरती पर उतर आया हो। एक साथ 200 से अधिक देवताओं का आगमन केवल धार्मिक आयोजन नहीं, बल्कि सांस्कृतिक एकता और लोक आस्था की जीवंत झलक प्रस्तुत करता है। राज देवता देव माधो राय और मंडी जनपद के आराध्य देव कमरू नाग का मिलन उत्सव का शुभारंभ माना जाता है। इस परंपरा को देखने के लिए प्रदेश के दूरदराज क्षेत्रों से आए श्रद्धालु घंटों प्रतीक्षा करते हैं और देव मिलन का क्षण आते ही जयकारों से वातावरण गूंज उठता है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय शिवरात्रि महोत्सव के दौरान सांस्कृतिक संध्याओं का आयोजन भी किया जाता है जिसमें स्थानीय कलाकारों सहित बाहरी राज्यों के कलाकार भी अपनी मनमोहक प्रस्तुतियां देते हैं। वहीं इस वर्ष पहली बार वॉल पेंटिंग का आयोजन किया गया और अब यह महोत्सव आस्था और परंपरा के साथ–साथ कला व रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति का भी मंच बन रहा है। निश्चित तौर पर मंडी का यह देव महाकुंभ हर वर्ष यह संदेश देता है कि परंपराएँ केवल अतीत की धरोहर नहीं, बल्कि वर्तमान की जीवंत शक्ति हैं। परिक्रमा के लिए आकाशवाणी शिमला से मैं रितेश कपूर।“
