In addition, IndiGo has been directed to trace and deliver all baggage separated from passengers due to cancellations or delays within the next 48 hours. Airlines have been further advised to maintain transparent communication on tracking and delivery timelines and to provide compensation wherever required under existing passenger rights norms. With strengthened oversight and coordinated efforts among airlines, airports and security agencies, the latest measures aim to minimise inconvenience for travellers during the ongoing disruption.
