Bahujan Samaj Party President, Mayawati held a public meeting at Agra in Uttar Pradesh in support of party candidate from Agra Lok Sabha Constituency Pooja Amrohi. Addressing the rally on Saturday, Mayawati alleged that the people of the country are facing hardship due to rising inflation and unemployment. She alleged that due to the wrong economic policies of BJP, the small and middle class businesses are badly affected. The BSP chief said the poverty in the country can be eliminated only by giving employment to every hand in the country. She alleged that both Congress and BJP are against SC, ST and OBC reservation.
The polling on Agra Loksabha Constituency will take place in the third phase on Tuesday. The BJP has filed nomination of sitting MP S. P. Singh Baghel from this seat, while Samajwadi Party has given ticket to Suresh Chand Kardam. Apart from these, eight other candidates are also in the fray. A total of over 17 lakh 57 thousand voters in this seat. Among them over nine lakh 85 thousand are male voters and over eight lakh 68 thousand female voters.
