The Border Security Force (BSF), in a joint operation with Punjab Police, apprehended two drug peddlers with heroin from their possession in Amritsar along the Indo-Pak border last evening. In a statement, the BSF said the movements of two suspicious individuals were noticed, who were chased and caught by the security personnel, resulting in the recovery of heroin along with three mobile phones. The accused belong to two villages of Amritsar. The packet of the narcotic was dropped by a Pakistani drone from across the border. An investigation is underway.
