Ruling BRS MLC P. Mahender Reddy has been inducted into the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao-led State Cabinet this afternoon. Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Mahender Reddy at the Raj Bhavan. The Chief Minister, several Ministers and officials were present on the occasion.

Mr. Mahender Reddy's induction into the Cabinet is seen as a move by Mr Rao, to address dissatisfaction following announcement of tickets to contest the upcoming Legislative Assembly election.
