In view of upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Head of Institutions (HOIs) and in charge of polling stations were imparted training at Mini Secretariat Shopian in south Kashmir. The training was held under the supervision of Additional District Development Commissioner Shopian, Dr Nasir Ahmed Lone. The main objective of the training was to provide necessary know-how to the staff detailed for election duties in order to prepare them for the smooth conduct of elections in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC briefed the staff about their significant role in the election process and called upon all to give their best for the conduct of free and fair elections. The Booth Level Officers and Head of Institutions were imparted training by the Master Trainers, designated for the purpose.
