Both the Assesmbly seats, which went for by-poll last tuesday, in Tripura have been wrested by BJP. At Boxanagar, BJP candidate Taffajal Hossain defeated his nearest rival Mizan Hussain of CPI(M) with a record 30 thousand votes. The Dhanpur seat has been taken by BJP candidate Bindu Debnath, who defeated CPI(M)'s Kaushik Chanda.
