BJP’s national office-bearers meeting was held in New Delhi to discuss the party’s membership drive. The meeting was chaired by party President J.P. Nadda.

Union Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah, along with other senior party leaders, also attended the meeting. Addressing the media after the meeting, BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra said that the party will start its membership drive on the 1st of next month.

Mr. Patra said that the objective of the drive is to add over 10 crore people as members of the party. He said that in states where elections have been announced, the membership drive will begin after the conclusion of the Assembly elections. He said the objective behind this drive is to enhance the party’s base and spread its ideology.
