BJP on Wednesday ( 13 September 2023) took on the I.N.D.I.A bloc and termed the Opposition meeting as a get-together of the Anti-Hindu Coordination Committee. Taking on the Opposition on the issue of Sanatana Dharma, party spokesperson Sambit Patra said, that whatever has been said against Sanatan Dharma did not come out of anyone's mouth by mistake, rather it is a design. He said, this is the same design, under which years ago it was sponsored against the Ram temple saying that Lord Ram does not exist and he is imaginary.

Mr Patra said, a key member of the I.N.D.I. Alliance has said that no matter what differences between all the 26 parties, the ultimate goal is to destroy Sanatan. He said, if such words had been used for any other religion, there would have been an outcry in the entire world today. He launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Sonia Gandhi over the issue.
Mr Patra said, non-cooperation among I.N.D.I. Allaince group members is visible including on seat-sharing arrangements. He said, in fact, discoordination has already begun between them even before coordination.
