In Gujarat, results for all 26 seats are out. BJP has won 25 seats, while Congress’s Geniben Nagaji Thakor has won form Banaskantha constituency.

Among the winners are BJP candidates Amit Shah from Gandhinagar with over 4.6 lakh votes over his nearest rival Sonal Ramabhai Patel of INC,  Haribhai Patel from Mahesana, Hasmukhbhai Patel from Ahmedabad East, Dineshbhai Makwana from Ahmedabad West, Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai from Junagadh, Mukeshkumar Chandrakhant Dalal (Uncontested) from Surat, Mansukbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava from Bharuch and C R Patil from the Navsari seat, and BJP’s Dr Mansukh Mandaviya from Porbandar.
