Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah today accused the Congress of appeasement politics and corruption. Addressing a public meeting in Hukkeri of Chikkodi Lok Sabha Constituency in Karnataka today, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains unblemished in his 23 years of public life as Chief Minister of Gujarat and later as the Prime Minister. He informed the electorate that during the 10 years of BJP governance, the country was secured and Pakistan was given a befitting reply through air and surgical strikes for cross-border terrorism. He also informed about the tap water and gas connection, houses for the poor and free vaccination during the pandemic. He criticised the Congress Government in the state for stopping 4000 rupees given by the previous BJP government to the farmers under PM Kisan Samaan Yojana.
