BJP Punjab President Sunil Jakhar has announced that the party will contest alone in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state.

In a video message on social media today, he said, this decision was taken after consultation with party workers and leaders.

Mr Jakhar said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government has taken many steps in the interest of Punjab, which are benefiting the farmers and other sections of the society.
