BJP President J P Nadda today hit out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over a lathi charge by Bihar Police on party leaders and workers in Patna during a protest.  In a tweet, Mr. Nadda said,  the Grand Alliance government is attacking democracy to save the citadel of corruption. He alleged that the lathi charge is the result of the failure and frustration of the State government.  He added that the Chief Minister has forgotten his morality to save the person who has been charge-sheeted. The BJP was protesting over the issue of recruitment of teacher aspirants and demanding the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav after the CBI filed a chargesheet against him in land for a job scam case.
