The BJP on Wednesday (30 August 2023) hit out at the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal over the alleged irregularities in the liquor policy. Addressing media in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson, Gaurav Bhatia said that former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia who is behind bars, has not got a bail in the case. He alleged that AAP, which was making tall claims of being a very honest party, is now actually nervous about Mr Kejriwal that he may also be sent to jail in the case. Mr Bhatia also hit out at AAP MP Sanjay Singh for terming the scam in the policy as concocted and imaginary. He said, the Enforcement Directorate and CBI have also filed charge-sheets in the case.
