BJP hit out at the Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday after a new supplementary charge sheet was submitted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in alleged Delhi excise scam, in a Delhi court. Delhi BJP president Virendraa Sachdeva said that the chargesheet clearly mentioned how 39 crore rupees were distributed. Mr. Sachdeva added that the charge sheet also mentioned how many summons were issued against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and how he did not cooperate in the investigation.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party alleged that the ED is distorting the statements in the case. Minister in Delhi government and Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said that recently, Mr. Kejriwal had also proved in the court that ED is distorting the statements. He also alleged that investigating agencies are abandoning their work and working at the behest of the ruling party, which is fatal for democracy.
