BJP has formed a Committee to evaluate the incidents of political violence that have continued in West Bengal incessantly following the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The members committee comprises BJP senior leaders and MPs Biplab Kumar Deb, Ravishankar Prasad, Brijlal, and Kavita Patidar. The Members of the committee will visit West Bengal and present a detailed report on the incidents to BJP National President JP Nadda.

In a statement, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh said that West Bengal continues to be in the vice grip of post-poll violence which also had been seen after Assembly elections in 2021.
