BJP Delegation Files Complaint with Election Commission Over Alleged Misuse of State Machinery in Andhra Pradesh

A BJP delegation today met Election Commission and filed complaint against the Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh government in connection with alleged misuse of state machinery against NDA workers. The delegation comprising BJP General Secretary Arun Singh, Om Pathak, Telugu Desam Party Member K. Raveendra Kumar, Jana Sena Party Chairperson N. Manohar and others met the commission in New Delhi over the issue.

 

 
Talking to the media after the meeting, Arun Singh said that the delegation has demanded an investigation into the alleged attempt to pressurize the state machinery to work in favour of the ruling state government. Mr. Singh stated that they have also demanded videography at sensitive poll stations and deployment of central police force.

 
Jana Sena Party Chairperson N. Manohar said that the delegation has urged the election commission to take immediate steps with regards to the situation in Andhra Pradesh. Telugu Desam Party Member K. Raveendra Kumar expressed concern over the violation of the Model Code of Conduct by the ruling YSRCP government.
