BJP has constituted a five-member committee comprising of party's women MPs to visit violence-affected areas in West Bengal. The Committee will submit a report on alleged atrocities committed against women in the state during the violence. The MPs in the committee include Convenor Saroj Pandey, Rama Devi, Aparajita Sarangi, Kavita Patidar, and Sandhya Ray.
