BJP chief JP Nadda criticizes I.N.D.I.A alliance for bashing Sanatan culture and bullying media

BJP president J P Nadda today launched a scathing attack against the opposition I.N.D.I. Alliance alleging that its constituents are doing just two things bashing the Sanatan culture and bullying the media. In a social media post, Mr Nadda said, I.N.D.I. A alliance should stop their antics immediately. He said, they should instead focus on constructive work and serving people, else, the path to obscurity will get even clearer. The BJP Chief said, that each party is competing to outdo the other in hurling the choicest abuses towards Sanatana Sanskriti. He said, the Emergency era mindset is alive among these parties. He said, the opposition bullying the media with filing FIRs, threatening individual journalists, and making lists in true Nazi style of who to target.

Mr Nadda’s remarks came a day after coordination committee of the I.N.D.I. Alliance bloc authorized the sub-group on media to decide upon the names of the anchors on whose shows none of the Opposition alliance members would send their representatives.

He said, the history of the Congress has many instances of bullying the media and silencing those with differing views. Mr. Nadda said, Pandit Nehru curtailed free speech and arrested those who criticized him, Indira Ji remains the Gold Medal winner of How to Do It- called for a committed judiciary, committed bureaucracy and imposed the horrific Emergency, Rajiv Ji tried to bring media under State control but failed miserably. Sonia Ji-led UPA was banning social media handles simply because Congress did not like their views.
