BJP Candidate from the South Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency Ramvir Singh Bidhuri filed his nomination papers this afternoon. Before filing the nomination, Mr Bidhuri held a road show from Lado Sarai to Saket in the city with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and others. Talking to Akashwani News, Mr Sachdeva expressed confidence over the BJP’s chances to secure all seven Lok Sabha seats against the AAP-Congress alliance in Delhi.
Mr Bidhuri will face Sahiram Pehelwan of AAP on the seat. BJP candidate from Chandni Chowk Praveen Khandelwal also filed his nomination today. Union Minister Piyush Goyal along with BJP MP Dr. Harsh Vardhan addressed a massive nomination rally in Chandni Chowk in support of Mr Khandelwal. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Goyal alleged that apart from false videos and fake narratives, the INDI Alliance has nothing to offer to the country. Congress has fielded J.P. Agarwal from the seat. Udit Raj of Congress filed his nomination from the North-West Delhi seat today, where he will face Yogendra Chandolia of the BJP.
All seven seats of the national capital Delhi will go to polls on the 25th of this month.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Raj Babbar also filed his nomination from Haryana’s Gurugram Lok Sabha seat. BJP has fielded Rao Inderjit Singh from the constituency. The voting will be held on all ten Lok Sabha seats of Haryana on the 25th of this month.
