BJP has announced Babubhai Jesangbhai Desai and Kesrivevsinh Zala as its candidates for the forthcoming Rajya Sabha polls from Gujarat. Ananta Maharaj will be party candidate for the Rajya Sabha polls from West Bengal. Party President J P Nadda cleared the names.

Earlier, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar filed his nomination from Gujarat. Goa BJP president Sadanand Shet Tanavade also filed his nomination from Goa. Tomorrow is the last date for filing of  nominations. The polling will be held on the 24th of this month.
