BJP today alleged that Congress is trying to usurp the rights of SCs, STs and OBCs. Briefing media in New Delhi, party leader and Uttar Pradesh Minister Baby Rani Murya accused Congress of favoring reservation based on religion which she said will never be allowed by the BJP. She said, architect of the constitution Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was against religion based reservation. She however alleged that the main opposition party says a particular community has the first right on the country’s resources. Ms Maurya added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP has taken several steps for the empowerment of marginalized sections.
