BJP today alleged that Congress governments in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh are infamous for mis-governance and corruption. Briefing media in New Delhi, party spokesperson Prem Shukla said that it has come to light that Himachal Pradesh has the worst economic condition among the nine hill states of the country. He added that Himachal Pradesh has become the state with the second-highest per capita debt in the country. Mr Shulka said the salary of the transport workers in Karnataka was not credited to their accounts, due to which they had to go on strike. He also raised the issue of alleged corruption in Karnataka, claiming that family members of State Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge are involved in land scams in the state. He demanded a CBI probe against Mr Kharge in the alleged land scam. The BJP leader also alleged that Congress has never cared for the needs and aspirations of people and the party has always remained engaged in corruption.
