The BJP today hit out at the ruling Trinamool Congress, alleging that it is spreading hooliganism in West Bengal. Briefing media in New Delhi, party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia alleged that TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee does not believe in the Constitution and its values. He also alleged that She has given liberty to her goons to do whatever they want. He said, Like Sandeshkhali, the ugly face of Mamata’s rule is visible everywhere in West Bengal.

Mr. Bhatia said, the flogging and physical abuse of a man and woman at a public place in North Dinajpur is nothing but another display of misrule of TMC Government and an open violation of the values of Constitution in the state. He also questioned the silence of India block leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav on this issue.
