BJP today hit out at the Congress over alleged irregularities in land deals in Karnataka and involvement of party leaders in the state.

Briefing media in New Delhi, party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said a case has come to light related to the allocation of defence land free to Siddhartha Vihara Trust managed by Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge.

He alleged that the Siddaramaiah government gave five acres of land in Bangalore’s Hi-Tech defence area to the trust. Mr. Prasad asked the Congress President to answer the questions being raised on the land deal. The BJP leader alleged that wherever Congress comes to power it promotes land grabbing.
