In Bihar, Vidhan Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon today amid noisy scenes and protest of opposition Grand Alliance members over the special status to Bihar issue on the second day of monsoon session of state legislature. 

As soon the House assembled at 11 am the opposition members trooped into the well of the House demanding reply from state government on special status issue. The opposition members were holding placard and banners sloganeering against state government.

Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav repeatedly appealed agitating members to return their seats but in vain. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said government is ready to reply on this issue but opposition members should raise their demand from respective seats not from well of the House. The opposition members not paid any heed on the remark of the minister. As the pandemonium continued the speaker adjourned the House till 12 noon.
