Bihar: Senior leaders, star campaigners of all parties hold multiple rallies for 2nd and other phases of Lok Sabha elections

In Bihar, senior leaders and star campaigners of all parties, including the Grand Alliance and the NDA, are holding multiple rallies in support of party candidates for the second and other phases of the Lok Sabha elections. Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed his first rally for Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. Addressing a rally in Sandis Compound in Bhagalpur, Mr. Gandhi said if voted to power, the I.N.D.I. alliance would work for the protection of poor and deprived classes. He alleged that the NDA government has only worked for certain industrialists at the cost of the interests of the poor.

 

Mr. Gandhi said his alliance would work for a permanent solution to unemployment. He said every graduate youth will get the right to an apprenticeship in the private and public sectors, along with a one lakh rupee scholarship. Mr. Gandhi said the party will also scrap the Agniveer scheme of recruitment. The Congress leader said his party will formulate an act for the Minimum Support Price of crops. RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav will also address public meetings in support of candidates of the Grand Alliance in Katihar and Purnea.

 

Senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey said only the NDA can fulfil the dreams of the people of Bihar. Speaking to the media in Katihar, Mr. Pandey claimed that voters have decided to anoint Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country for the third time.
