In Bihar, the rescue and search operation for 10 missing people has been stopped in the swollen Bagmati River in Muzaffarpur district after sunset. Additional District Magistrate Ajay Kumar said, 10 people mostly girl students are missing after a boat capsize ferrying 30 people mostly school students in the Gaighat area. The ill-fated boat capsized after it lost control due to heavy currents in the river. Around 20 people were rescued. NDRF and SDRF teams with local drivers have been pressed in the search operation. The search operation will resume tomorrow.
