The Nava Nalanda Mahavihara Deemed University (NNM) in Bihar will soon introduce a Buddhist Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the help of Malaysia.
Vice Chancellor of NNM Deemed University Professor Siddharth Singh said the university will start Nava Nalanda Mahavihara Norbu – AI system specially designed with the help of Malaysia. He said an M-o-U has been signed between two parties to roll out the special AI system and chatbot. The vice chancellor said it will help to revive the Nalanda tradition and it will help to get access to Lord Buddha teachings in an innovative way. Professor Singh said it will be one of its own kind of special initiatives in India.
Nav Nalanda Mahavihara has collaborated with many prestigious institutions of the world for academic exchange. Professor Singh said the educational institutions being Japan, Taiwan, USA , Vietnam and Thailand.
The Nava Nalanda Mahavihara Deemed University(NNM) is a trusted institution under the Union Ministry of Culture which is engaged in promoting academic activities in Buddhist Studies and several languages like Pali, Sanskrit, Tibetan studies, Chinese, Japanese and others.
Located near the heritage site of ancient Nalanda University, the institution is continuously working to spread Buddhist art and culture and promote relations with foreign countries through its academic prowess. It is going to start undergraduate courses under New Education Policy in the upcoming academic session.
