In Bihar, campaigning has reached a crescendo in poll bound areas of third and fourth phases of Lok Sabha elections with star campaigners of all major political parties and senior leaders of NDA and Grand Alliance addressing public meetings and rallies.
JD(U) president and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attacked RJD for alleging that the party is propagating dynastic politics. Addressing a public meeting in Nauhatta in Madhepura Lok Sabha constituency, Mr. Kumar said the RJD Chief has only promoted his family at the cost of interest of people of the state.
He also held a road show in Madhepura and addressed a public meeting in Babubarhi in Jhanjharpur Lok Sabha constituency.
State BJP President and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary addressed a public meeting in Bettiah in Paschimi Champaran Lok Sabha constituency. He said the NDA government can only give full proof guarantee for employment. He said the commitment to provide jobs to 10 lakh people will be completed by 2025.
Mr. Choudhary said during the RJD-Congress regime there were no employment opportunities in Bihar. Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ramvilas) Chief Chirag Paswan also addressed the election rally.
For the Grand Alliance, RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav held several public meetings in Sitamarhi, Madhubani and Muzaffarpur.
Addressing a public meeting in Rahika in Madhubani, Mr. Yadav alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making false promises to the country. He said in the last 10 years the PM has not worked for the development of Bihar despite the state giving 39 MPs to NDA out of 40 Lok Sabha seats.
Mr. Yadav said the problems of inflation, unemployment are still not addressed and migration of people is high but the NDA government has not taken any step. Vikas Sheel Insaan Party (VIP) Chief Mukesh Sahni also addressed the public meeting.
