In Bihar, an estimated 52.83 per cent voter turnout was registered today in the by-election for the four assembly segments in Imamganj, Belaganj, Tarari, and Ramgarh. The Belaganj assembly constituency registered the highest polling percentage at 56.21 per cent, followed by 54 per cent in the Ramgarh assembly segment. The political fate of a total of 38 candidates, including five female nominees, was sealed in EVMs today. In the Tarari assembly segment, polling was registered at 50.1 per cent, whereas in Imamganj, 51 per cent of voters exercised their right to franchise.
