Bihar Board 12th Results: Girls Dominate, All Stream Toppers Female

In Bihar, girls have outshined boys in this year’s 12th Board Intermediate results, which were declared by the Bihar School Examination Board today. All the top positions in the arts, commerce, and science streams have been clinched by female students. Ankita Kumari, a student from a government school in the Vaishali district, secured the top position in the Arts stream with 94.6 percent marks. Ankita Kumari, along with Shakib Sah from Buxar, emerged as toppers in the Arts stream.

 

A total of 86.5 percent of examinees from the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams passed this year’s Intermediate Board Exam. A total of 12.92 lakh students appeared in this year’s Intermediate Examination, out of which 11.7 lakh have passed.

 

In the Commerce stream, 94.77 percent of students passed, while in the Science stream, the pass percentage was 89.66 percent. In the Arts stream, around 82.75 percent of students passed. Priya Jaiswal, with a 96.8 percent score, secured the top position in the Science stream, whereas Raushani Kumari topped in Commerce with 95 percent marks. Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar congratulated the students for their brilliant futures.

 

Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board, Anand Kishore, told media persons that the incentives for top students have been increased and doubled. Students who hold the top position on the merit list will now get 2 lakh rupees, and the second topper will receive 1.5 lakh rupees in the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams separately.
