In Bihar, the BJP today staged a protest and organized a Rajbhavan March over the police lathi charge incident in Patna on its party workers. 

Later the BJP delegation and members of other NDA allies led by State BJP President Samrat Choudhary submitted a memorandum to Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar. The delegation comprising senior BJP leader and Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Leader of opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha, former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and LJP MP Prince Raj demanded the probe in yesterday’s incident by a committee headed by a sitting judge of the High Court or CBI.

Earlier, BJP staged protests across the state wearing black scarves. The party members also made their protest in both the Houses of Bihar legislature with black scarves.
