Domestic benchmark equity indices today ended in positive territory, led by gains in banking and auto stocks. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 230 points, or 0.29 percent, to close at 80,234, while the NSE Nifty50 rose 80 points, or 0.33 percent, to settle at 24,275. The broader market at the Bombay Stock Exchange also logged gains. The Mid-Cap index added 0.34 percent and the Small-Cap index advanced over one percent.
