Multiple bar bodies across Jammu and Kashmir have strongly condemned the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam Valley yesterday. Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association in a statement condemned the attack as a cowardly and inhumane act of violence targeting innocent civilians. The Association expressed solidarity with the victims and their families and called for a complete Jammu Bandh and suspension of judicial work today.

Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association also denounced the attack as a barbaric assault with no place in a civilised society. The Bar body asked all its members and advocates to abstain from court work in protest against the continuing threat to regional peace.

The Kashmir Jurists Bar Association also joined in condemning the act, describing it as an “inhuman attack by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.

The Bar Associations have also urged the authorities to swiftly bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure robust preventive measures to protect civilians from such future threats.
