Bangladesh says it supports a peaceful resolution to the India-Pakistan tensions over Kashmir, calling for dialogue and diplomacy to ensure the South Asia region.

During a media briefing in Dhaka yesterday, the foreign affairs adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh, Mr. Touhid Hossain, said, Dhaka wants peace across the South Asia region.

Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) reported that Hossain pointed out that, in today’s interconnected world, developments in one region inevitably influence all countries to some extent.
