The Foreign Affairs Adviser of Bangladesh Md Touhid Hossain has said, Bangladesh remains hopeful about maintaining strong relations with India while ensuring that its bilateral interests are safeguarded. Speaking at a roundtable discussion titled “Bangladesh-India Relations: Expectations, Barriers, and Future” at North South University in Dhaka today, Hossain emphasized the importance of optimism in fostering diplomatic ties with India, despite recent challenges. Md Touhid Hossain expressed his belief that Bangladesh would be able to continue building a good relationship with India, provided both nations work to protect their respective interests.
