In Bangladesh, the High Commission of India will hold the Yoga Day at the Mirpur Indoor Stadium, Dhaka to observe the 10th International Yoga Day tomorrow. The High Commission of India has roped in the Yoga Associations of Bangladesh to take part in the Yoga Day programme. The Bangladesh Yoga Association, Quantum Foundation, Joysan Yoga, Bangladesh Yoga Sangha and ITEC Yoga Alumni Association of Bangladesh are taking part in the main event including some educational Institutes. High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Pranay Verma will welcome the participants to the programme at the beginning of the event.  

Yoga organisations, youth clubs, and individual Yoga enthusiasts have made elaborate plans for the Yoga Day tomorrow. Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Sylhet and several other cities in the country are holding Yoga Day programmes tomorrow to celebrate this occasion.

The popularity of Yoga in Bangladesh is widespread and growing. It is clearly the preferred choice for youngsters and the elderly, men and women, boys and girls for a healthy, stress-free and balanced life. The experience of Bangladesh clearly shows that going beyond the limitations of language, religion and culture, Yoga today stands as a symbol of a life of harmony and a world of peace.
