Bangladesh, High Commissioner of India inaugurated college building at Kashinagar

High Commissioner of India in Bangladesh Pranay Verma  inaugurated a college building at Kashinagar degree college in Comilla district, Bangladesh on Monday. 

Speaking on the occasion, the High commissioner expressed his confidence that the college building will be very much helpful to the students in getting quality education in their locality only.

Verma said the four stories educational building was constructed under the High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDP) mechanism. 

He said that under HICDP mechanism, the Government of India provides grants for the development projects in sectors such as socio-cultural, education & health care etc.

He added that till now Government of India has undertaken 93 such  projects in various districts of Bangladesh. Of them 76 projects have been completed so far. At present, there are 17 projects are at various stages of implementation.

Formar Railway Minister of Bangladesh and Member of Parliament Md Mujibul Haque and other dignitaries participated as Special Guests. 

Local people participated in large numbers during the inaugration function.
