In the Indonesia Open Badminton Tournament, India’s Lakshya Sen will face Japan’s Kenta Nishimoto, while compatriot Priyanshu Rajawat will take on Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn, in the men’s singles second rounds in Jakarta, Indonesia this evening.

In men’s doubles first round, Ace Indian pair of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will play against the Malaysian pair of Wei Chong Man and Kai Wun Tee. While in the mixed doubles round of 16, the duo of B Sumeeth Reddy and N Sikki Reddy will face the Chinese pair of Y.Q. Huang and S.W. Zheng.

In women’s doubles pre-quarters, the duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto will lock horns with Korean Lee So Hee and Baek Ha Na, this evening.

Meanwhile, another women’s doubles pair of Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly suffered an exit from the tournament, after a hard-fought match against the Japanese pair of Wakana Nagahara and Mayu Matsumoto, 21-19, 19-21, 19-21.
