Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has said, Ayushman Choupal will be set up in every village of the country. He said that along with making Ayushman cards in the Choupal, health check-ups will also be performed. He was addressing the concluding ceremony of the two-day Swasthya Chintan Shivir in the state capital Dehradun today. The Union Minister said that the village which makes 100 percent Ayushman cards will be called Ayushman Gram.

He added public participation in Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan can go a long way in making the country TB free. Dr. Mandaviya urged the Health Ministers of the states to encourage people to become Nikshaya Mitras.
Our Dehradun correspondent reports that the two-day Swasthya Chintan Shivir was organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare along with the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare. Health Ministers from various states and Union Territories participated in the event.
