The Ayush Ministry will observe “Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Saath” under the aegis of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign on the 1st of next month. As per the Ministry, more than 200 events will be organised across the country to mark the day.
The National Commission of Indian System of Medicine and the National Commission for Homoeopathy with more than 750 colleges will also participate in the event. The Ministry has also requested various States and Union territories to observe the Shramdaan activity at all Ayush Health and Wellness Centres. The theme for Swachhata Hi Seva 2023 is 'Garbage Free India'.
The Ministry of Ayush is actively participating in the Ayushman Bhav Campaign by organising weekly Ayush Health Melas across India under the National Ayush Mission.
Till date under this campaign, more than 580 Health Melas have been organised, which has benefitted more than 28,000 people.
