Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das passed away at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) Lucknow today. 

 

 

He was admitted to SGPGI having suffered a brain haemorrhage on the 3rd of February. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra confirmed that he died at 7 am.

 

 

Expressing condolences Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath in a social media post said that the demise of Acharya Shri Satyendra Kumar Das Ji Maharaj, the great devotee of Lord Rama, is an irreparable loss to the social and spiritual world. 

 

 

We pray to Lord Shri Ram to grant a place to the departed soul at his feet and give strength to his grief-stricken disciples and followers to bear this immense loss.

 

 

Acharya Satyendra Das served as the Chief Priest of Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi temple since 1993. The Ram Mandir Trust has expressed deep condolences on his demise.
