Australia will resume second innings from its score of 113 runs for four wickets, on day four of the fourth Ashes cricket test match at Old Trafford in Manchester. Australia were still trailing by 162 runs to England in their second innings.
 
In response to Australia's first innings score of 317, England posted 592 in the post-lunch session on Day 3 yesterday. With the help of Jonny Bairstow's unbeaten 99 runs, England took a lead of 275 runs. Zak Crawley hit 189 runs on Day 2 while Moeen Ali, Joe Root, Harry Brook, and Ben Stokes made 50s. Josh Hazlewood bagged a five-wicket haul for Australia, and Mitchell Starc and Cameron green took two wickets each.
