In response to Australia's first innings score of 317, England posted 592 in the post-lunch session on Day 3 yesterday. With the help of Jonny Bairstow's unbeaten 99 runs, England took a lead of 275 runs. Zak Crawley hit 189 runs on Day 2 while Moeen Ali, Joe Root, Harry Brook, and Ben Stokes made 50s. Josh Hazlewood bagged a five-wicket haul for Australia, and Mitchell Starc and Cameron green took two wickets each.
