Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma denied the allegation that his wife received any subsidies from the Centre. Replying to the allegation made by Congress leaders Gaurav Gogoi and Pawan Khera, the Chief Minister in a social media post reiterated that neither his wife nor the company associated with her got any subsidies from the Government of India. Recently, a section of media in Assam reported that his wife and her television company got 10 crore rupees of subsidies from the Centre.
