Asian stocks showed mixed trend on Thursday (28th April 2024). Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index jumped 0.91 percent, China’s Shanghai Composite index added 0.59 percent.

On the other hand, Japan’s Nikkei slumped 1.46 percent, Singapore’s Straits Times index fell 0.85 percent and South Korea’s Kospi index down by  0.34 percent.

European markets also showed positive results in intra-day trade.  France’s CAC-40 gained 0.49 percent, London’s FTSE-100 added 0.31 percent and Germany’s DAX was trading 0.1 percent up, when reports last came in.
