Asian stocks showed mixed trend today. Singapore’s Straits Times index jumped 1.09 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index gained 0.87 percent, South Korea’s Kospi index rose 0.71 percent and China’s Shanghai Composite index added 0.17 percent. However, Japan’s Nikkei slumped 0.04 percent.

European markets also showed mixed results in intra-day trade. Germany’s DAX was trading 0.46 percent up, France’s CAC-40 gained 0.12 percent. Whereas London’s FTSE-100 was marginally lower by 0.01 percent when reports last came in.
