Asian stocks today ended mixed. Japan's Nikkei-225 gained 1.2 percent and South Korea's Kospi rose 0.7 percent. On the other hand, Hong Kong's Hang Seng index tumbled 2.2 percent, Singapore's Straits Times index shed 0.4 percent while China's Shanghai Composite fell 0.1 percent.
 
 European Markets were also trading mixed in intra-day trade. France's CAC-40 dipped 0.2 percent while London's FTSE-100 and Germany's DAX were almost flat, up just 0.09 percent.
