Asian stock markets gained today after blockbuster results from tech giant Nvidia boosted Wall Street, while a retreat in government bond yields eased pressure on borrowing costs, further boosting sentiment.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng index surged two percent and South Korea's Kospi rose 1.3 percent. Japan's Nikkei-225 accelerated 0.9 percent and Singapore's Straits Times index added 0.2 percent.  China's Shanghai Composite Index appreciated 0.12 percent

European Markets were also up in intra-day trade. London's FTSE-100 and  Germany's DAX both added 0.35 percent each. France's CAC-40 rose almost half a percent.
