Asian stock markets on Thursday closed mixed. Singapore's Straits Times index and China's Shanghai Composite index added marginally up to 0.2 percent while South Korea's Kospi index ended flat. On the other side, Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell 1.4 percent and Japan's Nikkei-225 declined 1.6 percent. 
 
European shares were also mixed and trading in a narrow range in intra-day trade. London's FTSE-100 fell 0.3 percent while France's CAC-40 and Germany's DAX were trading marginally up by 0.2 percent when reports last came.
